You Joined A Family For Several Reasons And Jeff The Knife Is Just One Reason. All You Need To Know Now Is How To Beat Jeff Effectively. So, Let's Get To It.

 There Are Many Things On The Boss Fight Page You'll Need To Be Aware Of. Those Things Are;

• Your Charges You Get To Use
• Charges You Can Send To Family Members
• How To Send Charges To Your Family
• Weapons You Get To Use
• Combos Of Those Weapons
• The Fatigue And Rage Meters

The Most Important Thing You Need To Know Is That It Will Take You And Your Family Working Together In Unison. You And Your Family Need To Be Active In This Boss Fight. At The Same Time You Need To Be Competitive And Strategic As Well. There Are Rumors That Only The Top 10 On Your Family's Leader Board Will Receive Rewards Once Jeff Is Beat. That Happened In My Family And I Am Trying To Confirm If It's The Way Zynga Meant To Allocate The Rewards. Onto The Good Stuff Now.

Before The Fight Begins You Need To Choose Which Part You Wish To Play In The Boss Fight. You Can Fight As A Bruiser, Arsonist Or Racketeer. All 3 Play A Vital Role And Your Family Should Try To Have A Balance Of All 3.

All 3 Ways To Fight Jeff Will Have What Is Called Charges. There Are 2 Types Of Charges. One You Send To Your Family And The Other You Receive From Your Family To Use Yourself. These Charges Are As Follow;

There Are 3 Different Charges That You Can Accrue From Your family. These 3 Are A Bruiser, Arsonist And Racketeer Charge. 

As You Can See In The Pictures Above Each Of These Charges Help You In A Specific Way. 

The Charges You Get To Use Yourself Can Be Found In The Part Of The Fight Page That Looks Like This;

You Can Have A Maximum Of 5 Of Each Of The 3 Different Charges That You Can Ask For From Your Family. 

The Charges You Get To Send To Your Family Depend On Which Way You Decided To Fight Jeff. Below Is An Example Where I Chose To Fight As A Racketeer.

These Charges Accrue For You On A Timer. You Get A Maximum Of 5 

These 2 Different Charges Need To Be Utilized At The Right Time And In Unison Of Each Other. You Use These Charges To Keep Jeff The Knife's Rage Low And To Keep You Fatigue Low. 

When Those Are low And You Use Stamina To Attack Jeff And You Have A Bruiser You Deal Double Damage To Jeff.

If You Have Enough Of The Weapon Items You Could Always Use Them In A Combo To Do Some Added Damage To Jeff. 

To Keep This Short, The Basics Are To Have An Active Family. To Utilize Your Charges Wisely. To Attack Jeff Using Stamina When Your Fatigue Is Low And Jeff's Rage Is Low.

Jeff The Knife Epic Boss Fight Disappointing

After All The Malfunctions That I And My Family Had When The Jeff The Knife Boss Fight Started We Have Now Completed It And Beat Him Once, Hooray. 


Not So Fast. I Got 20 Rp's From Zynga Due To The Malfunctions Of There Being No Leader Boards. That's O.K At Best. I Found A Way To Fix The Issue That We Had, Not Zynga. I Had To Post A Link To Our Family In Our Fan Page And Click That Link To Access Our Family Module Within The Game. This Corrected The Problem But Our Family Was Still Set Back On The Boss Fight For Several Days. The 20 RP's Barely Covered Buying The Rifle Rounds At 10 For 10 RP. I Didn't Bother. 


Now, With 1 Day Left We Beat Jeff For The First Time And Other Families Have Beaten Him Several Times. Obviously, We Are Still Disadvantaged. To Put The Icing On The Cake, The Reward Payout Was Changed In The Middle Of All This To Payout 4 To Each Player Instead Of One. On The Surface That Sounds O.K.. As It Turned Out, I Finished 5th On Our Leader Board. The More You Do The Better Your Chances Of The Better Rewards Are Supposed To Be, Right. Well, You Be The Judge. These Are My First Four Rewards In The Picture;

These Are All In The Rare Category On The Rewards List. Normally I Wouldn't Complain Much About This. However, After Being Set Back So Much In The Boss Fight My Expectations Are Higher And More Hopeful. The Only Beauty In The Situation Is The Fact That We Can Now Fight Jeff The Knife Again With A New Clock Set For 7 Days. We Are Still Behind Other Families Who Are,Apparently, Racking These Rewards Up. I Have To Ask Again, Where Is The Fair And Even Playing Field?

On August 19th Blue Eyed Nate (aka, Nathan McGee) Left The Zynga Due To An Offer He Couldn't Refuse. We Now Know What Forces Drew Nate Away From Zynga. A Much Larger Mafia With Much More Money, Fame And Power Was All It Took For Nate To Skip Out On Zynga. But Hey, If George Lucas And Lucas Films Gave Me An Offer I Couldn't Refuse It Neither. 


Blue Eyed Nate Announced On His Facebook Page That Starting September 1st He Would Be Working At Lucasfilm As The Sr. Manager Of Social And Community Engagement. Nate Also Stated, "I am extremely excited about this opportunity as I will be working on a lot of the movie properties, which includes Star Wars!"

Now That Nate Is A Storm Trooper You Can See That He Is Already Hard At Work Being Social And Engaging The Community. I Also Noticed In The Pics Above That He Kept His Harbinger. All The Best To You Nate.

Power Pack Experiment Update

A few days ago, Zynga announced that the Power Packs were entering Phase 2 of the "Power Pack Experiment". Some players got Power Packs which provided a 100% stamina refill every 16 hours and some players got one that provided a 50% stamina refill every 8 hours. Oh yeah and a rather large group got screwed and ended up with no Power Packs at all. Originally I was given the 16 hour Power Pack.

Today I noticed my Power Packs were changed and now I have the 8 hour version.

It's typical of Zynga to give the players something they like and then swiftly change it or take it away. It makes players feel like they got screwed and isn't a cool thing to do. If they don't want us to have something, they should never implement it in the first place. Sadly many players have never gotten any type of Power Pack and can only watch from the sidelines.  Getting a Power Pack as a Free Gift only to watch it transform into a Mystery Boost Pack doesn't ease the pain of getting the shaft. MW LOOT LADY Forgot To Mention That It Is Also Typical That Zynga Doesn't Even Open Up Some Of The Features To Some Players Of  The Game. I Finally Got The Power Packs Only A Few Days Ago. I STILL Don't Have The Union Hall. It Is Quite Bothersome And Leaves Me And Many Other Players Cold When WE Don't Get Any Of The Perks When Others Do. By The Time We Get The New Features We Are Playing Catch Up. There IS NO Even Playing Field. We Know The {ASS} Clan Is A Zynga Favorite Who Gets To Break The Rules And Appears To Be Zynga's Test Clan, Or At Least One Of Them. Thankfully, My Blog Is For And About The 'REAL' Players Who Have To Earn Everything.
