Family Gift Option Removed But Will Return

The option that allowed you to easily send free gifts to your red tag Family members has been removed. At this time I don't know if this is something Zynga intended or just a bug.

I found this forum thread.  Go here to check for updates.  Maybe Zynga discovered that most of us liked this option and we all know what happens to things we like in this game.

Family members on the gift page Seriously, why does Zynga hate us? Is this a case of "we're not allowed to have good things". There was, until today, a button on the gifting page that would allow me to send gifts to members of my family. Why was this option removed? It was extremely useful. BRING IT BACK.  __________________

UPDATE:  I asked around about this and found that Cerulean Master, Super Moderator, got word from the developers that it will be added back and was not intended.

Brazil Achievement Glitch

You have probably seen a lot of these in your news feeds lately and you will probably see many more once the Brazil Secret District opens to all players.

The reason is because Smuggler's Haven is counting as a District. When you master it on any level, it will count as one of your un-mastered Districts in Brazil. Mafia War-er send me the following screen shots taking from his account. You can see that he hasn't yet mastered District 7 on the Gold Level....

...but he was rewarded the Fala Serio! Gold achievement. This happened when he mastered the Smuggler's Haven on the Gold Level.

We saw the same thing happen when Zynga added Districts 6-8 in Las Vegas and Regions 6-8 in Italy. Players who mastered any of the later Districts or Regions prior to 1-5 got achievements that didn't match the description.

I was more than happy to see the Requiescat in Pace Centesimus achievement get removed. It does bother me that because of this the achievement count is off. There are only 26 Fight Achievements and it is still being counted even though it's not listed. Players with OCD don't like this at all!

PrivacyVille offers something that we believe is a first of its kind--we directly reward players for learning about privacy.  You don’t need to be connected to Facebook or be registered as a Zynga player to tour PrivacyVille. However, if you are a Zynga player, you will have the option to connect to Zynga’s RewardVille and claim zPoints that can be used to redeem unique virtual items across our top titles as a reward for walking through PrivacyVille.

Weekly Timer FUBAR

In Zyngaland it was time for the weekly timer of the Family Progression feature to reset and all the players were eager to start earning more Family experience. This don't always go as expected and the weekly timer expired but did not reset. You can't even tell what's going on with it. If you haven't mastered all the tasks on the Gold Level, you still work on them and get experience.

The issue has been addressed on the Zynga forums and Cerulean Master plans on telling "the team".

Mean while the Daily Timer is working fine. Zynga should take this as a sign from above that the Weekly Timer is bad news and will continue to cause them and the players problems.

If you feel the Daily Timer is a better way to go, please go here and like this Get Satisfaction thread. The more likes the greater the odds that Zynga will take notice. It doesn't always work but it can't hurt to try before the big nerf of the Daily Timer happens.
