More Boss Fight Loot

There isn't a new boss yet but 2 new sets of Family Boss fight loot were added to the inventory today. Now there are 3 sets of unreleased Boss Fight loot. Of course each set has that one item that nobody will ever get.

Here is a closer look at the new loot items. The Ice-Cycle looks really cool and I'm sad I will never get one. Maybe we are going to get more than one boss or maybe Zynga is just stocking up so they won't have as much work to do around the holidays.

City Of Traverse Now Open

Zynga Announced That Things Would Be Slowing Down. I Am Yet To See Where And How. With New Chicago Districts, Harold And Kumar Gifting Event And An Zombie Apocalypse Event I Now need 48 Hours Per Day To Work This Non-Paying, Time Consuming, Un-Rewarding Hobby. Games Are "Supposed" To Be Enjoyable And Not Demanding. But Hey, We Now Have Another Secret District That Is Called 'The City Of Traverse' To Distract Us From Our Real Jobs That Pay For The Electricity And Cable/Internet Service That Allow Us To Access The Game In The First Place. We Knew It Was Going To Be Released This Week. 

The City Of Traverse Is, As Expected, Located In Chicago. There Is A 2 Week Time Frame To Complete The District.

You Can Access The District By Clicking On The Travel Bar Or By Going To Your Chicago Jobs Or Clicking On 'Go Now' On The Banner On The Home Page Within The Game.

Each Level Will Have 9 Jobs To Complete. .

Two Jobs Require The Consumable 'Horse Racing Stub' In Order For You To Complete.

Zynga Wanted To Get The Jump And Be The First To Start Pestering People For Christmas. Yes, We Know The Movie Is Coming Out. We've Already Been Sending Harold And Kumar Fight Boosts. That Wasn't Enough, So Zynga Is Having Us Spam For More Gifts Since We Are All In Such A Giving Mood. 

We Need Beg For And Send Brownies And Christmas Cupcakes. Not Great Items For Your Attack And Defense Skills. But You Can Add Them To Your Wish Lists....er, um, Your Christmas Lists. 

 

  1) Select which character you want to win, Harold Lee or Kumar Patel – Or choose to collect both and increase your chances!

2) Collect munchies – either Christmas Cupcakes for Harold or Brownies for Kumar, by sending feeds and requests. You need to collect 15 munchies to win each collection for a shot at the Wafflebot. (You can root for both characters and collect both sets of special items.)

3) See if ‘Team Harold’ or ‘Team Kumar’ prevails on 11/12/11. For each batch of munchies collected for the winning character, you’ll be awarded the ultimate in baking technology – The Wafflebot! (Collect a maximum of 5 batches of munchies for each character.)

New Henchmen Fight Loot Drop Rates

It was only 10 days ago that new Fight High End Loot (FHEL) was introduced (1). It was less than desirable but it was nice to have some loot that increased most of our stats.  It was a unexpected and pleasant surprise when a 9th generation of FHEL was introduced 2 days ago.

What makes this generation of FHEL so special is it includes 2 Henchmen, one attack and one defense, with decent stats. We haven't had many opportunities to acquire a lot of Henchmen with good stats and this has made fighting fun again. Due to the Zombie theme of this loot, many are wondering if these items are permanently available or will the disappear once the Zombie Apocalypse Event is over. I've seen two different responses from Customer Support transcripts but I think they will say as Zynga added them to the Fight Rewards Page and have not told us they were available for a limited time.  Although the loot is referred to as fighting loot, it drops when fighting and robbing. In fights, you will see it slide across your Fight Module like all the other loot.

When robbing, t will drop randomly through individual robs or be given as a bonus when you clear a Robbing Board.

I did a few runs and the drop rates seem to be about the same as older fighting loot. Like always, FHEL drops best in Brazil and Chicago if you attack players who are in the same destination. You will get far less ices but 5X the loot. Here are the settings I use on my Assassin-a-Nator if all I care about is acquiring loot. I check "Cash from same city" and set the health and target attack limits to zero.

I used 100,177 stamina and got 220 Henchmen (my bad, I forgot to capture the other new FHEL items). This puts the stamina cost to Henchmen at about 455.

I did a smaller run of 13,47 stamina in New York and got a total of 33 henchman. This comes out to about 1 henchman item per 408 stamina. Maybe it's my filters but the loot per stamina costs were actually better in New York. Loot drops are totally random and there are many variables so it's hard to judge anything from the data of one set of runs. 

I used 11,179 stamina robbing in New York and only got 5 Henchmen. The drop rates are much lower when robbing and only benefit the serial levelers when it comes to maxing out on fight loot.
