Games People Play – Turn Of A Friendly Card

 

The new 7 day sales event is called ‘Games People Play’ and ‘You can take it or you can leave it.’ 

If you are interested in participating in these types of events and you are skeptical as to whether it is a good deal to use your RP’s on here is a chart for you that may help you to decide if this is a good deal for you;

Each day you get the opportunity to use 40 RP to purchase items. As each days loot item unlocks for sale you purchase and additional item for 40 RP. If you spend 40 RP each day you will acquire a total of 28 loot items for a cost of 280 RP in total. If you make all 7 purchases the average cost per item is 10 RP. If you stop making purchases on any day the chart above shows the average cost per item according to how many days you’ve made purchases.

If these items do not help your stats then this is clearly not a good deal for you to make. Unless you are a collector and simply want the loot items.

If you have the RP to use and make all 7 purchases then this deal could be great for you.

If you compare this deal to the Psychological Crates then you might wish to purchase those instead since they contain better loot items.

The Crate purchases are a gamble since you do not know which item you will get when you purchase one. This could lead to spending much more RP as opposed to the ‘Games People Play’ Sale.

You could wait for them to go on sale so that you minimize your cost of purchasing them. Which is another drawback to buying the crates. They do not always go on sale for a while.

Either way, you decide which the better deal is. You decide which is the friendlier card to turn. And remember that these are the Games People Play.

 

Who’s Got Balls Of Steel?

 

The video gaming industry is a tough and competitive industry. It’s an industry that if one wants to be successful in they must grab it by the balls and grip it tightly.

The largest social gaming company, Zynga, has been Under Fire as of late with numerous lawsuits, complaints and accusations that Zynga infringes upon copyrights and may even have been involved in some insider trading.

Meanwhile, other social gaming companies are up to doing business as usual. That is that they are trying to develop the next cutesy unicorn, rainbow, fluffy bunny, paint it pink mega hit game.

That is, all except for one. One company is busy trying to hire some peeps. They are looking for some in-your-face, knock-em down to size talent that can get the job done and take that set of steel balls and twist and bend them into a wrecking ball. I am talking about Kixeye.

Kixeye released a recruiting video that just made me bust one of my steel balls. Before you check it out for yourself you should be warned that this video contains some material that may not be suitable for younger audiences;

As you can see from the video Kixeye isn’t looking for a Unicorn because they already have one.

The video does give us a Kixeye view of other popular gaming companies.

 

If you look closely at the images you just might notice some Easter eggs that a fluffy bunny left for us to find.

Will Harbin and his Kixeye have developed games like Backyard Monsters, Battle Pirates and War Commander.

Athletes Mystery Bags Were Available

 

Many players knew the Athletes Mystery Bags were on the dockets. The wait was over (temporarily). For a short time you could send, receive, and open the Athletes Mystery Bags.Most players were looking for RP’s, skill points, energy/stamina boosts and an item called First Step when they opened their Athletes Mystery Bags.

As I opened my Athletes Mystery Bags I got a surprise gift. Check this out;

Yes, I got an Athletes Mystery Bag from opening an Athletes Mystery Bag.

Many players added the Athletes Mystery Bags to their Wishlists before the event was even released.

I can only assume that these players were hoping to have the ability to open a ton of the Athletes Mystery Bags. What they ended up with is a bucnh of Athletes Mystery bags that are sitting in their virtual locker rooms cluttering up virtual space. On the bright side they are giftable (for now).

I did manage to get at least one of the First Steps before the Athlete Mystery Bags event was closed.

Much like John Schappert, this event didn’t stick around very long. The banners for the event even went through some changes before it was released. Personally, I would have stuck with ‘Athlete Mystery Bag’ as opposed to the plural version.
