Red and Blue Mystery Bags Refresh

In addition to the new collection called The Trap, Red and Blue Mystery Bags have gotten a "refresh". This means new items. The same old rare character building items, unneeded Construction Parts and crappy boosts haven't changed and we still will see those. They replaced the random loot items that were dropping with slightly better random loot items that won't help all players. They also threw in the new collection items. The Trap Collection is located in your inventory and you can view it by using the "Collections & Vaults Tab" and selecting the "Special" Collections.

It's the 8th one down so you gotta scroll a little bit.

Here is a breakdown of which bags each collection piece will drop from. These are based off player comments and have't been verified. If they drop the same as the Super Hero Collection then you can get one from each type of bag every 24 hours.

You will also get It's A Trap Collection items from Day 5 of the Daily Take. Now that's something to look forward to.

I had a chance to open a hundred or so Mystery Bags and reviewed the fan page to see what other players were getting. Here are all of the verified new Mystery Bag loot items.  The stats are much better than the old items but will still be useless to many players. None of them are new and they come from old Marketplace items and Crates. This has got to make the players who spent money on these feel great!  There could be more items so please comment if you get something not listed.

I'd Like To Say Thank You Zynga For The 2X Mastery Boosts. Apparently There Have Been Issues Recently  With Some Accounts When People Are Attempting To Log In And Others Have Experienced Lag.

I Just Don't Know How This Rectifies The Issues?

For Many, These Will Likely Be Wasted Doing Jobs For Missions That Have Already Been Completed. It Would Be Nice If We Could Choose To Use Them When We Want To. We Could Choose To Use Them When They Would Be Beneficial To Use. They Are Nice To Have, But Now I Feel I Need To Find Jobs That I Haven't Completed Yet So I Can Make Use Of Them And Break My Routine And Slow Down Further The "Get A Grip" Mission Progress Which Is Where I Experienced Issues.

You've been asking for it, and it's finally here! We've added the ability to collect from all of your properties in one easy location! We call it Union Hall, and it appears in the "Build Your Empire" section of the home screen:

Simply click a city's "Collect All" button to receive the cash and consumables ready for collection in that city! For Brazil, you also have the option of collecting your Real (cash), energy, and stamina separately. Just click the yellow arrows next to the "Collect All" button to cycle through the options:

Coming Soon: Rob Squad Collection Bonus

When you have a Rob Squad boost, pressing a city's "Collect All" button will use the boost to gain you bonus cash and consumables from that city. Don't have any Rob Squad boosts? You can ask for them every 8 hours directly from the new window!

Super Shipments

Click the large yellow arrows on either side of the "Build Your Empire" content you're currently viewing to flip to the other pages. The "Build Your Empire" page one click to the right of the Union Hall allows you to send and request Super Shipments, as well as build from and upgrade your NYC construction properties.

Click the "Ask for all parts" button and, when someone clicks on the request posted on your wall, you'll receive 0-6 construction parts, up to one for each of the construction properties you can own (the Chop Shop, Weapons Depot, Armory, & Private Zoo in NYC, the Black Market in Brazil, and the Port in Italy), depending on if you've already collected a part for those properties within the last 12 hours. Super Shipments don't allow you to collect more construction parts; they just offer an easy way to collect, all at once, those that you have not yet received via individual feeds.

Is Mafia Wars Fading Away?

As You Can See In The Graph Above, The Monthly Active Users Of Mafia Wars Has Been On A Steady Decline. Is This Indicative Of An Eventual Shut Down Of Mafia Wars? Will There Be A Resurgence As Fall And Winter Approach? We Can Only Hope.

As Far As I'm Concerned, Mafia Wars Has The Most Potential Of Any Game On The Internet. If Zynga Would Stop Closing Cities And Releasing Missions And Ice Events So Often That One Feels Overwhelmed Then Mafia Wars May Retain Some Of It's Daily And Monthly Players.

Many Players Gripe And Moan About The Script And Bookmarklet Users And Claim That Is The Reason Why They Quit Playing. Zynga Can Resolve This Issue Easily. All Zynga Needs To Do Is Include Some Of The Functionality Of Those Scripts Into The Game Itself. The Union Hall That Was Supposed To Be Released  More Than A Week Ago, Originally, Was A Move In That Direction Since It Was To Include A Collect All Feature For Properties. I Don't Know What Has Halted It's Release.

It Would Also Be Appealing To The Players If Zynga Would Allow You To Request More Than One Item More Than Once Within A Given Time Frame. Allow It To Be Similar To The "Tiny URL" Or "Spokon" Gift Link Creators.

These Are Just Some Ideas That If They Were Integrated Into The Game Itself Then It Could Not Be Considered Cheating Because These Features Would Be Available To Everyone.

I Am Certain That There Are Other Great Ideas That Zynga Could Implement That Would Enhance The Enjoyment Of The Game And Help This Game Continue On For A Long Long Time. All Zynga Needs To Do Is Listen To It's Players Including Those Who Once Played.
