I would like to congratulate the winners of this event.

However, if you are like me you NEVER get overly excited about ANY event that involves competing to finishing number one. That includes IceBoards, JobBoards, and Bang Your Head Boards. Why? You may ask. Because all you see is the same players or families at the top of every one of these types of events. They aren’t fun for ALL the players of Mafia Wars. They only favor a select few players or groups of the game. If I have NO CHANCE  then why bother? These types of events only succeed at alienating too many players from the game. 

If you compare the winning families of the 2 most recent Family Inheritance Events you will notice that 7 of the 10 winning families won in each event. In the chart above I highlighted in yellow the 7 families that made the top 10 in the previous Family Inheritance Event. I also left the 3 new families in white. In the chart below I highlighted in red the 3 families that did not make the top 10 in the most recent event.

We scratch our heads and wonder why players have left this game in droves. One reason is the simple fact of the unfair nature of the events within the game. One works hard and plays for countless hours day end and day out to what end?
