Collectible Stat Cards Set 15

The new Collectible Stat Cards are now available.

This collection is called ‘Death By Color’. To see the images of the cards and loot items please visit our post Collectible Stat Cards Set 15   Many of you may have noticed that we have seen the banner image before. It was used in the 4th set of Collectable Stat Cards. The 4th set of Collectable Stat Cards is known as ‘The Gunned Down Collection’ and more notably as ‘Crime Scene’.

I would like to congratulate the winners of this event.

However, if you are like me you NEVER get overly excited about ANY event that involves competing to finishing number one. That includes IceBoards, JobBoards, and Bang Your Head Boards. Why? You may ask. Because all you see is the same players or families at the top of every one of these types of events. They aren’t fun for ALL the players of Mafia Wars. They only favor a select few players or groups of the game. If I have NO CHANCE  then why bother? These types of events only succeed at alienating too many players from the game. 

If you compare the winning families of the 2 most recent Family Inheritance Events you will notice that 7 of the 10 winning families won in each event. In the chart above I highlighted in yellow the 7 families that made the top 10 in the previous Family Inheritance Event. I also left the 3 new families in white. In the chart below I highlighted in red the 3 families that did not make the top 10 in the most recent event.

We scratch our heads and wonder why players have left this game in droves. One reason is the simple fact of the unfair nature of the events within the game. One works hard and plays for countless hours day end and day out to what end?

According to Wikipedia The Common Basilisk (Basiliscus basiliscus) is a lizard found in Central and South American rainforests near rivers and streams. The basilisk is part of the corytophanid family. It is also known as the Jesus Lizard, Jesus Christ Lizard, orLagarto de Jesus Cristo for its ability to run on the surface of water.

The Common Basilisk is named for the creature of Greek mythology made up of parts of a rooster, snake, and lion which could turn a man to stone by its gaze: the Basilisk.^[2] Its generic, specific and common names all derive from the Greekbasilískos (βασιλίσκος) meaning "little king".
