Thumbs down Flagged for continuous play!?

WTF??? Anyone else get this? "Dear Mafia Wars player,

It's not from fighting since I rarely bother with that anymore.
I've had a MW tab open in my browser since 11 am this morning. This apparently constitutes continuous play? Since when? I often leave a tab up so I can respond to mafia requests after my energy runs out. Now it is a crime for which I might receive a penalty? Just one more reason to quit.

My response to Customer support: I am incredulous that MW would send me such a message. Just one look at how long I have been playing (over two years I think) and my level (currently around 860) would show that I do not use any type of bot or robo play. Just leaving the game open in a tab on my browser has never before merited any sort of abuse penalty. The threat in your email about imposing a penalty is unfounded and unfair.

I am ready to quit unless you back off from making these kind of false charges against players. No more buying reward points from me!

Has anyone else received an unwarranted warning like this? Could someone else be shadowing my acct? I'm no computer geek. I don't know how to write a script or use a bot.

Insight appreciated

BTW it was an in game pop-up notice. Not an email.

Now For My Commentary

If Zynga's Aim Is To Kill This Game Off, I'd Say They Are On The Right Track. They Design And Construct This Game Into What Many Feel Has Become A Job And Now They Are Warning And Threatening To Penalize You For Doing Exactly What The Game Has Become.

That Is, The Game Has Become A Non-Stop Struggle To Continuously Try To Build Your Character Into The Best Fighting Machine That It Can Possibly Be. Also, Timed Mission And Events That If You Want To Complete And Still Have Time At The End Of The Week To Say Hello To Your Spouse For 5 Minutes Before You Have To Gear Up For The Next Round Of Endless Zynga Hoopla You Need To Be On The Game Continuously So You Don't Fall Behind Even A Smidgen.

Many Players Struggle To Do Most Things Zynga Implements Into The Game So They Don't Even Bother To Do Or Even Quit Playing Altogether Because They Can't Complete Many Of These Features. This Is Evident In The DAU  (Which Is Hovering Around 700,000 Currently). Seemingly, It Is Apparent Zynga Is Doing Nothing To Try To Increase The Player Base In Mafia Wars.

Most Of Those That Are Still Playing Mafia Wars Are The Bot And Script Players For The Most Part. This Is Because It Is The Only Way To Progress In The Game Once You Reach A Certain Point In The Game. Therefore, If You Punish Those Players And Piss Them Off And They Quit, Who Is Left To Play This Game? The Answer Is Very Few In Comparison To The 700,000 That Do Play Daily.

My Answers To Zynga Is If You Want To Keep This Game Going And Increase The Player Base Is To Implement And Utilize These Better Written Scripts Than Your Staff Writes And Make Them Part Of The Game And Available To All The Players. Hire The Script Writers At Spockholm And FBMWADDON. They Could Probably Keep This Game Going For 10-20 More Years. Think About It. Especially Since Whoever Is In Charge At Zynga Only Knows How To Create Good Concepts For Games And Doesn't Know How To Improve On Good Game Concepts. Let Alone Keep The Games Going. Zynga Makes It's Money And Runs!

I Know You May Say Games Die In Time. But Let Me Tell You This, If Nintendo Can Still Outsell Many Games With A Concept That Is About 25 Years Old, Then Why Can't Mafia Wars Become An Icon Like Super Mario? I Know Why Not, Bad Business!

Maybe It's Time To Boycott ALL ZYNGA GAMES!!

New Boss Coming Soon - Dr. Sarah Swift

Dr. Sarah Swift: The Next Family Boss

Dr. Sarah Swift Is Likely The Next Family Boss. This Will Be The First Time  We Will Have A Female Boss To Fight. The Amount Of Health Zynga Gives Dr. Sarah Swift Will Be Interesting As It May Draw Some Bad Jokes If It Is Too High Or Too Low. You Know, Those Tasteless Women jokes About Certain Times Of The Month Or Being A Weak Female. Of Course Other Jokes And Comments Could Be Made About Equating Women To Men If Her Health Is Comparable To Previous Bosses. Please Be Respectful And Keep It Fun. She Is Just A Fictional Character In A Game After All.
