Within our Jobbing, Robbing & Families Live Q&A post Mafia Spirit suspected the big question that everyone wants to know the answer to is
Is there going to be a new destination soon? And, if so, what will the location be?
It is our belief that the cities/destinations are among the most compelling reasons why many players love to play Mafia Wars.
We have seen 4 destinations in Mafia Wars that are now closed and many players either never completed them or they never had the chance to see them.
One of the questions during the LIVE Dev Q&A Session asked “are there any plans to bring these destinations back to Mafia Wars?”
As you can see (above) the response to the question is that there is a possibility that Cuba and/or Moscow could potentially return to Mafia Wars. We must be patient because Vishu Zen also stated that the current focus of the Mafia Wars Dev team is that they trying to resolve all existing issues that players face in the game before Zynga will pursue the return of any of the closed cities.
Also during the LIVE Dev Q&A Session, Zodus made the following comment;
This was both a yes and a no as to whether new cities/destinations will be introduced into Mafia Wars.
It does make one wonder what could be bigger than cities/destinations?
Could it be States? Countries? Continents? or Worlds? We hope not worlds! Let’s keep this game at least somewhat realistic and Mafia related!
Maybe we are thinking bigger in the wrong way. Maybe we need to think smaller is bigger. Maybe we need to think that it might be communities or neighborhoods.
When we stated neighborhoods it reminded me of a post we made on April 28, 2012 that we called A Few Suggestions For Mafia Wars. Is our suggestion of a Neighborhood from that post what Zodus is referring to as “bigger than just cities”?
We are now very excited to see if this is in fact what Zynga has in development for us.
Then again, maybe it’s something else altogether.

If you have collected the maximum number of Devil’s Delight in all 3 releases of this loot item then you should now have 15 of them in your inventory.
Maybe the Dev’s have forgotten that there ARE still other loot items that the Stranger is being stingy with. One such loot item is the Newsboy.

To help the Dev’s out, in case they forgot, the Newsboy’s item id number is 21450. Would it be that much of a catastrophe to allow the players to acquire just one round of the Newsboys and the other unreleased Stranger’s Swag loot items?
