Mafia Spirit made a post that we called “Flock - Is Zynga Planning It’s Own Social Newtwork” On January 11, 2012. After more research we are finding that the answer is yes. We have found other articles regarding this question and we can now expand on what may be happening with Zynga and Facebook.
On October 11, 2011, Zynga announced an upcoming venture that was described as a stand-alone website called “Project Z”. It is said that Project Z will bring Zynga’s games to consumers outside of Facebook.

Project Z, Zynga’s destination website is now in closed beta and preparing for an eventual live launch, Schappert said. “Project Z is a destination site for social gaming, we’re trying to create a place for people to enjoy social games, to play together. And always have an endless supply of friends,” he said. “It’s now in an internal closed beta. We don’t have a release date.”

We do know that changes are coming for Zynga and its users. Although, there is no official release date as of yet for Project Z or Zynga Direct.
We know that you will still be able to access your favorite Zynga games via Facebook when/if we get to see this new Zynga platform and model.
