Submarine Crates are now available in the Marketplace. They cost 12 RP for a single crate or 35 RP for 3 crates.

For each crate you purchase you will be rewarded with one of any of these loot items; a Need Knife, Typhoon Sub, Steinke Hood, Submarine Sailor, Submerge, Red Navy, Frilled Shark or a Submarine Officer.

How To Fix The Half Screen Loading Issue Using Google Chrome

Many players (including myself) have recently been experiencing half page loads in Mafia Wars. This issue appears to be isolated to players who use the Google Chrome browser.

You will not find any help regarding this issue on the Zynga's Mafia Wars Support Page since this issue is (technically) not Zynga’s problem. It is an issue with Google Chrome and Cookies that are in your history. The solution is to clear your Google Chrome history, cache, Cookies and Plug-in data.

If you are experiencing this loading issue with Google Chrome preventing Mafia Wars from fully loading then follow these instructions;

Locate the wrench that is located in the top-right corner of the Google Chrome browser and click on it.

Scroll down to where the word ‘History’ and click.

You should now see a list of your browsing history. Locate the button that says ‘Clear all browsing data…’ and click it.

A pop-up should appear that has about 6 checkboxes for you to choose from.

Make sure you have checked the 4 boxes as in the image above. Especially be sure to checkmark the ‘Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data’ option. Then click the ‘Clear Browser Data’ button to start clearing your history, cache, Cookies and Plug-in data.

Depending on how often you clear your cache and history this could take anywhere from a few moments to several minutes. The end result is that you should be able to fully load Mafia Wars again.
