New Event Item

While running the Inventory History bookmarklet, I saw an new event loot item called Knife Knuckles.

A butt load of Market Place loot items were also added. I'm guessing they are new Collector's Edition items.

New Buildable Property Stats

If you go to your New York Buildable Properties you will notice the stats have improved. Unfortunately no extra skill points were added and that's all we really care about anyways.

Here is a list of the new stats which overall aren't that great. You can still get better items doing fights, jobs and robs.

Other Cuba Mission Changes

A major issue with the Return To Cuba Mission is there are a few tasks requiring you to you rob in Cuba. The problem was there were no Robbing Boards in Cuba.

We were notified by Customer Support that they were working on resolving this issue.

"we're working on the robbing boards and other related issues and will have a release that will go out tonight that will get you into that action."/Customer Support

It looks like they have fixed it as I now get Robbing Boards in Cuba.

Zynga must not have been very confident in their abilities to fix it because they made some changes to the Return To Cuba Mission. Part 1 now states that you can rob in New York or Cuba.

In Part 6 you were required to rob 8 Bribery Rings which are found in Cuba. The task has been changed and requires that you rob 8 Mega Casinos.

PART 6 CUBA MISSION Changed

CASTLE; PART 6 CUBA MISSION

This Part Of The Cuba Mission Has Apparently Been Changed Or Some Will Have To Rob Bribery Rings While Others Will Have To Rob Mega Casino's. As You Can See In The Following 2 Screen Shots There Is A Difference In What You May Need To Rob To Accomplish This Part Of the Mission. I Believe Zynga Has Changed It To The Casino's For Everyone. But, Just In Case.

I Have Also Noticed That The Experience Rewarded Has Also Changed. Originally You Were rewarded 4439 Experience For Completing This Part Of The Mission. Now You Are Being Rewarded 1734 (Less Than Half). And This Doesn't Benefit The Credit Card Players Who Purchased Their Way Through The Mission Moreso Than Us Folks Who Are Actually Working Through The Mission? Thanks Zynga For Screwing Us Again.

In Either Case, Thanks To The Vital Sights Boosts You Shouldn't Have Too Much Difficulty Robbing Either The Bribery Ring Or The Mega Casino's. That's If You Can Find Them On Your Robbing Boards. I Spent The Stamina To Refresh The Robbing Board About 35 Times In Total To Rob All 8 Of the Mega Casino's.

My Mafia Wars Pet Peaves

Being Attacked And Iced As Soon As You Level Up. I Don't Have Enough Time To Share My Level Rewards And Go Fight Myself Before I Am Iced Already. Why Is There Not Some Kind Of Delay When You Level Up Before You Are Added To Others Fight Lists?
I Declare A War And By The Time I've Posted My War I Lost The War. Are People Really Sitting There Ready To Fight Back As Soon As A War Is Declared On Them? Are These Bot/Script Players I Am Unfortunate Enough To Declare War On?
I Never Know When A War Is Declared On Me Until It's Over And I Lost.
Certain Players And Families Always Seem To Acquire New Things First. IE, Early Access To Cuba. The Union Hall (I STILL Don't Have), Power Packs ( I Only Got A Week Ago/ Others Have Had Them A While),
Epic Boss Fight Is In NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM FAIR! It Heavily Favors Those Families Who Are Some Families Are Working On Beating Jeff The Knife For Their 100th Time. My Family Has Beaten Him 3 Times. Some Families Have Beaten Him Once. Don't Give Me Your Bullshit That Everyone Has The Same Opportunity To Fight Jeff. The FACT IS WE DONT!
The Raven Boss Fight (If He Returns). He Is Only Out For A Limited 8 Hours And The Items You Need To Beat Him Only Drop During This Same Time Frame And The Rate In Which They Drop Is Ridiculous. It Isn't Even Worth Trying To Fight The Raven. Fighting The Raven Was Better When The Raven Was First Introduced. I Beat Him Twice Then And Haven't Beaten Him Since. A Load of Crock Is All It Is.
Ice Seasons; I Think We've Had Enough Already. Eight Is Enough. Slow Down On All These Events, Missions, And Hoopla. I Can't Get My Cities Finished. In Fact, Other than Cuba Right Now I Haven't Been Able To Do Much In Any City In 2 Months. Make Your Events Special Again And Not Constant.
I Might Buy An Occasional Game Card If I Felt Like It'd Actually Contribute To Me Playing The Game. Right Now, Not On Your Life. I Simply Don't Have Enough Money To Spend For It To Make A Difference From Just Playing The Game The Way I Do Now.
The Loyalty Program Is Insulting To Those Of Us Who Do Not Spend Money. I've Played The Game Every Day For A Year And I Am Still Only Emerald Tier 32. Then, When And If I Reach Gold Level I Have To Spend Money To Go Furthur. This Sucks. Please Abolish This Annoying And Useless Program.
The Game Has Great Potential. Zynga Just Doesn't Appear To Realize This. Open More Cities, Not Closing Cities Would Be A Place To Start. Look At The Response Of Cuba Reopening For Example. It Brought A Momentary Excitement Back Into The Game.

Updated Top 8 Loot Items

There are 10 new loot items added to Cuba and their drop rates are pretty decent. I decided to review the Top 8 loot items from the Jobs, Fights, Fight Club, War and Operations categories and size up the new Cuba loot.

Five of the items above make the new Top 8 list. There are 9 items listed because the Gothic Boots from the Fight Club and the Monofin from Operations have the same attack score.
