Maybe Zynga Isn't Going To Close The Doors On Mafia Wars In 2012. But, As The DAU Continues To Fall The Players Are Closing Up Shop On Their Mafias.
The DAU Has Now Dropped To 580,000. As Players Continue To Quit Playing Mafia Wars The More Difficult It Is Becoming To Achieve Certain Things Within The Game. Family Progression Comes To Mind First. Since Zynga Demands Impossible Goals To Progress And With Less Active Players The Family Progression Is Nearly At A Halt For Many Family's. If The Weaker And Smaller Family's Can Not Even Complete Ice Seasons How Can They Progress Through The Family Progression? This Only Drives More Players Away From The Game.
We Were Warned That The Family Module Was A BAD THING.

My Facebook friends are great gifters and are there when I ask for help on operations, etc. The one perk of going it alone, like I do, over a Clan is that I don't have to fight unless I want to. I don't have a commitment to a Clan Godfather's rules. I play how I want to when I want to without the added rules and restrictions of a Clan. If you have looked through the Family thing then you will find an area where badges will be given out and awarded to Clans for certain accomplishments. For example, attached to the badges a Clan who wins 100,000 fights each member might get a stamina refill or an energy refill. These things "might" be awarded. I believe it will happen because those in Clans won't want a worthless badge that gives you nothing but bragging rights. Now, if you don't join nor participate in a Clan those perks won't be available yo you. An energy refill would currently allow me to do 2500 energy points more in jobs. A stamina refill could set me back 1500 stamina in fights or robbing. Not to mention item drops from extra fighting or xp from jobs. Any item would set me back the amount of attack or defense it holds. |
