There Was A Major Rollback (Clawback) That Began Today In Mafia Wars. Many Accounts Have Had Loot Items Removed From Their Inventory. Some That Should Have Been Rolled Back And Some That Should Not Have Been. Here Is A Reprint Of The Latest Official Zynga Update;

Update:
In our efforts to maintain a level playing field, we had to run a claw back for some items which we believe our players had got via unfair means.
This conflicted with a system issue on our side & some items were inadvertently removed from some accounts.

We are recovering and are working on crediting back all the items incorrectly removed from your account. It might take us till Thursday (April 20 2012) to grant the correct number of items back to you.

We regret the inconvenience caused & thank you for your patience & continued support while we work on resolving this issue.

Below are the two types of items for which we ran a claw back:
1. Items for which we know the maximum permissible number
-- We reduced the number of these items in inventory to the maximum number allowed
2. Items which were available during a certain period only. Gift mastery and Sale mastery items are available only during the gift mastery and market place sale event respectively
-- We removed the items if the players had managed to get them after the event ended.

Please DO NOT get bent out of shape for having items rolled back that, like {ℳ} ßrµ†µ§ has explained, you know that you should only have 1 of. We ALL want Zynga to fix the game. That means they need to fix the glitches too. At least it is something even if it isn't enough.

We Are Only Asking Players Not To Get Upset Nor Hung Up On Losing Items That They Should Not Have Had Within Their Inventory. If, For Some Reason, Loot Items Have Been Wrongfully Removed From Your Inventory You Should Contact Zynga Customer Support. How to: Submit a Screenshot Video to Customer Support

When submitting attachments to the Customer Support team for review, a screenvideo attachment is the best method to illustrate that a problem is occurring in Mafia Wars. Screen video attachments clearly outline problems and provide actionable steps to correct when a complicated problem arises.
Please follow the instructions listed below for an outline on how to submit a screen video to Zynga Customer Support.
NOTE: The suggested screen video software is only one of many free image hosting websites. It is not required that players use Jing to submit attachments to Zynga Customer Support. Additionally, a vast majority of free image hosting websites have a bandwidth limit. This means that if enough people view your picture, there is the possibility that your bandwidth will be exceeded, and your image will no longer be visible.
How to take a screen-video (Using Jing):

1. Download and install a free screen video software (Jing is commonly used:http://www.techsmith.com/jing/ ).
2. Locate the little yellow sun along the border of your primary monitor.
3. Use the capture feature to designate the area of your screen you want to capture.Your health, energy, stamina and level MUST be viewable in the video for verification.
4. Select 'Capture Video/Film Icon' option to begin a screenvideo and start recording.
5. Click the stop button to stop recording when you have captured the desired video. A new window with the screen video will be shown.
6. Share the screenvideo via screencast.com. Attach your UID to the end of the file name for customer support review.
7. Check the history section (under the little yellow sun) to retrieve the url link for the recorded screenvideo.
8. Locate the saved screenvideo and select 'Share' this will generate a new window with the url located in the address bar .
9. Submit the saved url to your support incident for verification purposes.
