At Zynga we take user privacy seriously. As part of our commitment to user privacy we strive to make it easier for players to learn more about the types of information we collect, how it is used and what their choices are for that information.
In that spirit, we are excited to announce the launch of Zynga’s latest privacy initiative,PrivacyVille. PrivacyVille is a game-like tutorial that rewards players for learning more about our privacy practices and provides easy access to additional privacy resources.
We created PrivacyVille by leveraging our creative and gaming talents to build a more accessible (and rewarding!) privacy education experience. PrivacyVille is modeled after our most popular game, CityVille, and provides a brief tutorial covering important sections of ourPrivacy Policy, as well as helpful resources about controlling your information online.
PrivacyVille offers something that we believe is a first of its kind--we directly reward players for learning about privacy. You don’t need to be connected to Facebook or be registered as a Zynga player to tour PrivacyVille. However, if you are a Zynga player, you will have the option to connect to Zynga’s RewardVille and claim zPoints that can be used to redeem unique virtual items across our top titles as a reward for walking through PrivacyVille.
While PrivacyVille is not intended to be a substitute for our Privacy Policy or Privacy Center (which we hope you will review), our goal is to provide you with a fun and rewarding way to learn about our key practices, and information and resources that will assist you with general online privacy.
Now read, click, collect rewards, and have fun!
