Facebook Has Made Some Changes Recently That You May Not Have Noticed. The Changes That I Am Going To Discuss Here Deal With Adding Friends.
If You Go To One Of Your Friends Pages You Will See In The Upper Right Hand Corner What looks Like Pictured Below;
If You Hover Your Mouse Over Where It Says Friends A Box Will Appear That Contains Several Options. You Can Mark This Person As A Close Friend Or As An Acquaintance. The Box Will Also Show You If You Have This Person Included In A List Such As A Family Member Or Other Type Of Relationship It Will Appear Here. If You Click On New List You Can Add This Person To A List In Which You Wish To Include Them Or Create A New List.
If You Hover Your Mouse Over Subscribe You Will See A Box Pop-Up That Shows You What Kind Of Information You'd Like To See Posted To Your Wall From This Person. This Can Range From Everything To Unsubscribe. These Features Do Not Seem To Work The Way They Should Because I Have Unchecked Some Of The Items In The List And I Still Seem To See Everything My Friends Post.
If You Click Where It Says Messages Then You Can Instant Message This Person In The IM Box That Appears At The Bottom Of Your Page.
If You Click On The Far Right Icon, That Looks Too Similar To Mafia Wars' Spinning Bullets, A Box Will Appear Where You Can Call, Poke, Suggest Friends Or Report/Block This Person.
If You Had Clicked On Suggest Friends You Will Get A Box To Appear Where You Can Select Which Friend(s) You Would Like To Suggest.
Once You've Decided Who To Suggest And You Have Sent Your Suggested Friend Each Of Your Friends Can Respond To A Friend Request And Either Confirm Or Delete.
