Are A Soldier In Your Family You Have To Wait For A Godfather, Godmother, Or Under Boss To Ask Another Family To Start A Battle With. Your Godfather, Godmother, Or Under Boss Can Choose Whether To Ask For A 4 Hour Or A 48 Hour Battle.
Once A Godfather, Godmother, Or Under Boss Of The Opposing Family Accepts The Proposed Battle All Family Members Will Be Able To Join The Battle. A Banner Like The One Below Will Appear Where You Can Click "Go Now" To Join The Battle Or On Your Mission Bar It Will Be Indicated That Your Family Is In An Active Battle.
If You Click On Your Mission Bar's Family Progression Icon You Can The Click On "Go To Battle" To Join The Battle With Your Family.
If The Battle Hasn't Started Yet There Will Be A Countdown Timer Indicating How Much Time There Is Remaining Before The Battle Begins.
You Will Not Be Able To Pursue Any Battle Actions Until After The Clock Hits Zero And A New Clock Begins For Either The 4 Hour Battle Or The 48 Hour Battle.
As Shown In The 2 Pictures Below, If There Are Active Targets For Your Family To Fight You Cannot Attack The Opposing Family's Safe House. You Can Attack Any Player Where The Red Attack Button Appears.
If There Are No Live Targets On The Fight List Then A Red Attack Button Appears Where You Can Attack The Opposing Family's Safe House.
You May Have To Click The Green Refresh Button Constantly If You Want To Find Live Targets To Fight.
If You Want To Know How Well Your Family Is Doing Then You Can Check Your Score On This Banner. In A Way, If You're Lucky The Opposing Family Won't Fight Back (As Indicated In The Picture Below). But That Takes The Fun Out Of The Family Battle.
Individual Players Acquire A Score As Well. This Can Be Found By Looking On The Leaderboard Of The Battle Looking Below Individual's Names. I Am Not Certain As To The importance Of This Score Yet. Other Than It Indicates How Many Of Those On The Opposing Family That Have Been Iced Or Killed By Said Player.
When The Clock Runs Out Your Battle Has Ended. A Box Will Appear That Looks Like This One (Below).
You Can Brag About Your Hard Fought, Or Boring, Battle.
You Now Have Some Mastery In Family Battles. This Now Appears On Your Family Page Under The Battle Area.
All-In All, For My Family's First Battle, I Was Not Impressed. The Issue We Had Was The Other Family Never Showed Up For The Battle. Maybe It Would Have Been More Fun If They Did. Also, There Seems To Be No 'Real' Incentive To Battle Other Family's Other Than Bragging Rights. But Don't Worry. Zynga Will Make This Family Battle Module Ridiculously Less Interesting For The Smaller, Weaker Family's. Just Check Out What's Next For The Family Battles;
