The Gift Clicker

Team Spockholm has posted a script that should make sending gifts a lot easier. We all need to come to terms with the fact that the updated to gifting made by Zynga broke the gift links system that many of us are used to using. It's now all about the ZMC. The more gifts you send, the more you will get back. You can send 50 gifts at a time and there is no cap on how many times you can do this. Going to your Send Page and clicking on 50 X's is a pain in the ass. The Gift Clicker will do this for you. This is just a simple script that will click the X in front of 50 mafia members for you. Team Spockholm is already working on more advanced scripts to make the "enhanced gifting" process even easier.

To get started, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the Spockholm Mafia Tools Experimental Page and located the Gift Clicker.

2. Click, drag and drop it in your bookmark toolbar.

Alternatively, you can import this Spocklet to your Spockholm Toolbar. Copy the code below and paste it into the import box.

3.  Go to your Free Gift Page and select the gift you want to send to your mafia. I will use Special Parts in this example.

4.  Click on the "Proceed to Send" button and wait until your Send Gift Page is loaded. If you don't use the Spockholm Toolbar you will need to make sure you are unframed on this page. If you do, you're good to go.

5. Click on Gift Clicker from your bookmark toolbar or the Spockholm Toolbar and wait for it to click 50 people on whichever list you have open. In the example below, I used my Mafia Wars Friends list.

6. Once 50 players have been selected by the Gift Clicker, click on the "Send Requests" button.

7. Click on "Send Requests" from the generated Facebook request.

8.  Repeat steps 3-7 as many times as you want. The more you give, the more you will receive. Keep in mind that you can only send 1 gift to each or your mafia members per day and you can only accept 200 returned gifts per day. The ZMC can only hold 100 gifts at a time. Now just sit back and wait for your return gifts to come rolling in.

I wasn't able to get the Gift Clicker to work in Chrome and have reported it to Team Spockholm. It worked fine in FireFox.

One Can More Than Reasonably Assume That Half The Families That Participate In The Family Battles Will See The Above Banner When The Battle They Participated In Commences. The Other Half Of The Families Who Participated In A Family Battle Will See The Following Banner;

The Dark Truth Of The Matter Is That Most Families Are Not Participating In The Battles At All. The Following 2 Pictures Show How Many Families Are Currently Registered In Mafia Wars.

As You Can See There Are 11,715 Registered Families. Since The Mafia Spirit Family Has Not Participated In Any Skirmish Nor Battle At All And We Have A Score Of 1500 In Each I Can Presume That All Families With That Score Or Less Have Not Participated In A Family Battle. On The Next 2 Pictures I Drew A Red Line On The Leader Boards Where My Presumed Participants Would Be Separated From The Non-Participants. 

As You Can See, With Using This Ideology, Only 23% Of All The Families Have Participated In A Skirmish And Only About 20% Have Participated In A Battle. One Can Only Deduce That An Overwhelming Majority Of Mafia Wars Players Have Not Partaken In A Battle (Nor Skirmish). 

One Major Reason Why Many Of Us Who Are Running Families Are Not Electing To Participate In The Family Battles Is The Family Progression.

We Feel We Have Enough Difficulties To Deal With In The Game As Opposed To 'Having' To Be Online To Help Our Family In A Battle That We Will Lose Too Many Fights In. We Need Ices, In Other Words, And We Can Not Get Enough Ices For The Family Progression If We Have To Red Ice To Get Them. Add To That, We Do Not Get The Fighting High End Loot When We Lose Fights. Add To That, The Fact That When We Lose Our Fights Trying To Get A Red Ice We Are Helping The Opponent Become Stronger Through The Experience They Are Gaining And We Still Lose The Battle. Add It All Together, Add To That, The Fact That We Still End Up On The Fight Pages If We Have Full Health So We Take Fight Losses From There Also. The Bottom Line Is The Fact That The Battles Aren't Worth The Same Loot Items We Get By Doing The Boss Fights Nor The Fight Losses We Take When We Participate Nor The Playing Dead We Have To Do If/When Our Family Is In A Battle And There Are No Viable Targets. We REFUSE To Be The Stronger Players Punching Bags!!

BATTLE BUTTON ON FIGHT PAGE

A Battle Button Is Now Appearing On Fight Pages. Apparently If You Click This Button You Will Challenge That Target And Their Family To A Battle. This Is Troubling To Me Because If I Fight Manually I Now Run The Risk Of Getting My Family Into A Battle Unwittingly And One That I DO NOT WANT TO BE IN!! Thanks Again Zyngcrap. This IS NOT A Good Thing For Those Of Us Who DON'T WANT TO BATTLE!
