Free Loot – Armored Socks

Zynga is now giving away the Armored Socks as a free loot gift just for playing Mafia Wars. I do not know for how long this item will be available for because as of the writing of this article there has been no official word from Zynga. My best guess would be until June 27th.

 

Whether you see the pop-up or not you should verify that you have in fact received your Armored Socks. Follow these instructions to verify if you have received your Armored Socks;

1.  To verify that the item has been added to your inventory, please click the Inventory tab:

2.  Next you will need to click the Filter button:

3.  Type 'Armored Socks' into the search field and click 'Go':

4.  The following window should show that 1 Armored Socks has been added to your inventory.

If you have received your Armored Socks you can click on the image to bring up the item details and see how much the Armored Socks has increased your stats by. 

If you did not receive your Armored Socks then you may need to locate your ‘Apps and Games’ in the left column of your facebook wall.

Then locate your Mafia Wars requests and the request from Mafia Wars.

To locate it faster you can click the Control (Ctrl) button and ‘F’ button, simultaneously, to bring up a dialog box where you can search for the Armored Socks request by typing the name of the item into the search box.

If you locate the request simply click the ‘Accept’ button and you should be taken into the game and receive your Armored Socks. To make sure you’ll need to verify to see if you received your Armored Socks.

If all this failed the you may need to contact Zynga support.
