Lucky Streak – Err - The Unlucky Streak 2 Event – FAIL 2!!

Here we go again with the second Lucky Streak. This would be more appropriately named the ‘Un-Lucky Streak’ for many (possibly MOST).

The rules are simple. You get 1 free spin a day for 23 days. You can also purchase spins (but who’d want to?).

To receive the Hot Wing you must collect the numbered loots (the un-numbered loots DO NOT COUNT). Although they do get added to your inventory). You also must collect loots from lower numbered groups BEFORE you can collect a Hot Wing at a higher level. You must collect the Bronze level Hot Wing before you can collect the Silver, Gold or Ruby level Hot Wing.

The Loots that you can collect are all shown in the image above with their corresponding numbers.

Just like in the first Lucky Streak Event my first spin rewarded me with a loot item that DOES NOT count toward the event.

I guess that I shouldn’t complain too much because these loots do help my stats. It just IS NOT encouraging to me to even consider buying reward points for this event if the odds of winning anything more than a Bronze level Hot Wing is next to nil.

Zynga has a good idea with this event. But, like everything Zynga does they kill the fun aspect by making the events emphasize the need to purchase RP tooooo demanding!

There are 3 things that I can think of that would make these ‘Lucky Streak’s’ much better;

1. Improve the drop rates of the numbered loots.
2. Reward any level Hot Wing (top reward loot) if you collected the necessary loots for that level of reward. Regardless if you did not collect the Bronze numbered loots first or not!
3. REMOVE the 8 unnumbered loots!!! Yes, they help with a players stats but they only hinder a players desire to want to spend money on this! By removing them (AND NOT CHANGING ANYTHING ELSE) the chances for ALL players to receive at least the Bronze level reward would/should increase. In theory, if players only need 1 numbered loot to receive the Ruby reward they might be willing to spend a little cash (IF the drop rate isn’t ridiculously impossible)!
