Zynga Game Surveys – Hidden Shadows And MW Optician Awarded

It’s common knowledge that Zynga has been losing players across all their games. Zynga is in desperation mode trying to figure out why. One of the latest tactics is the use of surveys asking players why they quit a game or why they ended their VIP membership or what will it take to get them to return to a game.

On August 16, 2013 Zynga had a survey for Current And Former VIP Survey – FREE Optician Bribe Loot

That survey offered players an Optician just for taking the survey. Current and former VIP subscribers were awarded the Optician today.

I am uncertain if players who have never been a VIP player and took the survey had received an Optician. Check your inventories if you happen to be one of those players.

Today players, current and former, of other games of Zynga’s (at least Hidden Shadows) have the opportunity to take a survey. I received the following survey in an e-mail;

One of the biggest reasons players quit your games, Zynga, is the high demand on time requirements it takes to play your games. The second biggest reason, or another reason rather, is the high demand to make in-game purchases. And a third major reason that players quit playing your games is the absurd amount of begging for parts and creating spam on our Facebook walls, etc. Culminated together, these things lead to the inability of playing your games without the use of scripts, bots, or the use of cheats.

Players want to feel like they are special, and with the current status of your games and your VIP programs and your Leaderboards we don’t!

We understand that you need to make money to keep your games free to play and even available to play. We would contribute some funds here and there if we didn’t need to refinance our homes just to buy few energy refills. Maybe if our purchases gave us some kind of benefit within your games then we might buy something once in a while. The key is ‘once in a while’! We don’t want to feel like it’s a must in order for us to be competitive in your games.

As far as Hidden Shadows goes, I have an idea that would turn hidden object games upside down. I will not state my idea here nor anywhere for free (It’s that good). So, you will have to continue with you’re a-typical hidden object game the way it is now. If I get some free time I might spend a few minutes on it again. Or not.
